I bought Caere OmniPage Pro 10.1 some years ago. The given serial number was 2889G-000-xxx. The key was 000 xxx. I am now trying to install OmniPage on my new PC and the serial number does not work anymore. What can I do?

You shouldn't disclose your registration details (serial numbers, keys) for the product you are going to use, since this is a public place and can be accessed by anyone. OmniPage was developed by Caere, the company later on acquired by Nuance Communications (Scansoft at the time of the deal). You should visit their official website and contact the support team to resolve the issue, registration-related issues are usually handled by the developer.

Hello, I bought OmniPage Pro 12 many years ago and used it on my previous PC. I just bought a new Windows 8 PC and tried to install Omnipage. The installation assistant asks for a serial number. I typed it in but it said "invalid". What can I do?

Your CD key must have been expired during all this time. The software dates back to 2002 and it seems that it doesn't allow multiple installations anymore. Registration and CD keys are handled by the developer of OmniPage.

Also, the previous versions do not support Windows 8 operating system. You will need the latest version for Windows 8 support.
